Chinese language and Literature
There are 27 teachers in the major of Chinese language and literature, including 4 professors, 14 associate professors and 9 lecturers. Most of them have doctorates. In recent years, he has undertaken and completed a number of research projects such as the National Social Science Fund, the social science planning of the Ministry of education, and the social science planning of Guangdong Province. Many achievements have won various awards, including provincial and municipal awards. This major consists of six teaching and research departments: linguistics, literary theory, modern and contemporary Chinese literature, ancient Chinese literature, foreign literature and writing. In the past two years, the professional students have won 20 first prizes, 101 second prizes and 146 third prizes in competitions at or above the provincial level. Among them, Yang Zengyu won the 7th China Campus top 10 poet award, the 4th dongdangzi poetry award, Guangdong University award and the 35th National Cherry Blossom poetry Invitational Competition.

History
History has a profound professional background, and agricultural history research has a high influence in China. There are two undergraduate courses in history and history (Cultural Tourism), and three teaching and research departments in ancient Chinese history, world history and historical and cultural tourism. This major attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' innovation ability, expands students' vision, actively organizes students to participate in the national oral history competition of college students, and has been in the finals and won awards for six consecutive years. There are 19 teachers, including 6 professors and 7 associate professors. 79% of them have doctorates. In recent years, it has undertaken more than 30 major national social science projects, general national social science projects, later stage national social science funding projects and various provincial and ministerial projects, and published more than 20 academic monographs. This major has the largest collection of agricultural history books in the world (more than 70000 books, including more than 30000 linear ancient books, nearly 2000 good ancient books), Lingnan cultural heritage protection laboratory, and 13 out of school practice bases in cooperation with Guangdong Museum, Guangdong archives, Nanyue Wang Museum, Huijing middle school, Tibet global travel agency, etc.

Philosophy
The philosophy Department was founded in June 2006. At present, there are 11 on-the-job teachers, including 1 Professor, 4 associate professors and 7 doctors. The philosophy department has a good momentum of development in scientific research and teaching, and many teachers have experience of academic exchange at home and abroad. He has presided over and participated in a number of national and provincial and ministerial projects. He has authored nearly 10 academic works alone or jointly, and published many articles in important academic journals. Many teachers' philosophy courses are welcomed and affirmed by the whole school students. Over the past ten years, more than 30 students have obtained master's degree or above and 4 have studied for doctor's degree. One of them has left the post doctoral station and stayed in the University.

Law
Most of the law teachers graduated from the first-class political and Law Universities in China. There are 43 professional teachers, including 4 professors, 15 associate professors and 24 lecturers. Most of the teachers have doctorates, and have the working experience of the public, inspection, law, department and other departments and law firms. They have both profound theoretical foundation and rich practical experience. This major consists of five teaching and research departments: civil law, criminal law, economic law, international law and theoretical law. It has two master programs: Master of law and master of agriculture (in the field of rural development). The passing rate of students taking the judicial examination has been stable at about 40% - 50% year on year, and the passing rate of individual classes has reached 80%, which is far higher than the national average level.
