On May 10th, yao hongbing, deputy director of the library of our school,he jianxin, minister of library resources and construction, zhanglimei, vice minister of the library and other five people came to our school for communication. Professor he fangyao, deputy dean of thecollege, professor ni genjin, director of the institute ofagricultural history, associate professor zhao yanping, associate professor of reference room, and other relevant teachers participatedin the reception and discussion.

Yaohongbing, deputy director of nongshi institute, said: nongshi institute is the largest school-level reference room in theuniversity, with its profound history and abundant resources. Inrecent years, the library has set up a department of construction of characteristic resources, which is mainly to sort out the original documents collected in the republic of China. At present, thousands of volumes of documents have been collected. This is similar to the work of the reference room of the institute of agricultural history.Ni genjin, director of the institute, agreed with yao. He said thatthe institute of agricultural history and the library are of the same origin. The institute was founded on the basis of the specialcollection room of the library in 1996, when the department of the university was adjusted, it became independent. In fact, there aremany valuable resources in the school library, such as graduationpapers, handouts and textbooks for students in the period of the republic of China. The two units should communicate and cooperate more to share resources and achieve mutual benefit and win-winresults.

Afterwards, specific personnel of the two departments conducted business docking,and the two sides exchanged experience on the revision of borrowingrules of sub-libraries, book retrieval and library building, and literature digitization.
